Terms and Conditions

Delivery Policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 to 4 working days. Selected products have a delivery time frame of 10 working day. 

Delivery takes place during office hours and the shopper cannot select the exact date, or time, for the delivery.

There are no deliveries after hours, over weekends or on public holidays. Please take this into consideration when selecting your delivery address.

During checkout, the buyer indicates where in South Africa you require delivery and based on your delivery address and postal code, DECO-Vie will indicate which Delivery options are available.

In the case of standard delivery, your parcel will be delivered to the address you specified in the checkout process within 7 - 10 working days. If nobody is present at the address at the time of delivery, our courier will make a second attempt to deliver on the next working day. The courier will try once more (third attempt), and if at that time there is still no one to sign for the parcel, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method which was used for the order. Should a delivery fee have been charged on the order, this will not be reimbursed, given that the courier has attempted delivery on numerous occasions.

In the case of post office delivery, your order will be delivered to the post office nearest to your address within the postal code you selected. If the parcel is not collected within 30 days of it being delivered to the post office, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method which was used for the order.

In the case of a pick up point delivery, your order will be delivered to your selected pick up point. If the parcel is not collected within 8 calendar days of being delivered, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method that was used for the order.

Standard Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes for standard delivery depend on your delivery address, postal code and selected delivery option. Normally deliveries will take 7 – 10 working days.

 Please note that during high volume periods like seasonal sales, Black Friday or Cyber Monday DECO-Vie  reserves the right to extend their delivery timeframes. DECO-Vie  will ensure the customer is presented with the extended delivery times before committing to the order

Stock Shortages

 Every effort will be made to ensure that DECO-Vie can fulfill your entire order once a purchasing contract (“sale”) comes into effect. However, if when packing your order, DECO-Vie is unable to fulfill certain product(s) in your order:

DECO-Vie will notify you thereof by emailing you and by allocating store credit to your DECO-Vie account to the value of the Rands paid/ DECO-Vie gift vouchers used for the product(s) that could not be sent to you. Should you wish to be refunded for the products that could not be sent to you please reply to the email received, in order to inform our client service team that you wish to have your store credit converted into a refund. Your requested refund will be to your credit card should you have paid by credit card and into your bank account should you have paid by EFT or SnapScan when you placed your order. Kindly include your banking details in the email, should you be requesting an EFT refund.

 In the event of a stock shortage, and you used a promotional/ discount coupon against all or part of the product(s) that cannot be fulfilled, DECO-Vie will not allocate the value of the discount/ coupon as store credit. Please refer to the specific coupon terms and conditions for more information on whether the voucher will be reinstated and, if relevant, how the reinstated voucher will be sent to you.

If you become aware of the fact that product(s) is/are missing once you receive your parcel, and DECO-Vie does not notify you thereof via email beforehand, please contact DECO-Vie as soon as possible on +27 86 999 0167 or email info@deco-vie.co.za to notify DECO-Vie thereof so that we can resolve the situation as quickly as possible. If contacting DECO-Vie via email regarding missing the product(s), please use your order number and the phrase “missing product(s)” in your subject line of your email. 

Export Restriction.

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only. International Clients can order online but we will need to establish courier prices, or clients need to use their own freight forwarders to collect from our warehouse.

Return and Refunds Policy

The provision of goods and services by DECO-Vie is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, DECO-Vie will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a  25% administration fee.

Should you wish to exchange or return goods purchased within 7 days, we will gladly exchange them for you or, if you are returning the goods, accept them or give you a refund in the form of a Gift Voucher if you produce a gift receipt provided that:

  • The goods are unused with all original, sealed packaging and tags attached
  • The goods are in a salable condition.

 - Gift vouchers will not be refunded.

 -  There is a 6 months return policy for defective goods.

 We will gladly accept return of the defective goods and refund via EFT or refund you in the form of a voucher provided proof of purchase is produced.

Customer Privacy Policy

DECO-Vie shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal
information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the DECO-Vie bank account, the details of which will be provided on checkout.

Card Acquiring and Security

Card transactions will be acquired for DECO-Vie via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer Details Separate From Card Details

Customer details will be stored by DECO-Vie separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za

Merchant Outlet Country and Transaction Currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

DECO-Vie takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Country of Domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and DECO-Vie chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Variation

DECO-Vie may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
